Meet the Board


We are pleased to introduce the 2026 Executive Board of the Santa Clara County La Raza Lawyers Association. Our Board is committed to advancing the mission of SCCLRLA and serving the Latinx legal community in Santa Clara County.

Committees

 

Judiciary Committee

The Judiciary Committee evaluates candidates for judicial election or appointment and makes endorsement recommendations to the Executive Board. Endorsements are limited to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to the Latino community and the mission of SCCLRLA.

Mentoring and Sponsorship Committee

The Mentoring and Sponsorship Committee supports law students and members through mentorship, outreach, and professional development programs designed to strengthen the pipeline of Latino legal professionals.



Community Engagement Committee and Events

The Community Engagement Committee builds and maintains relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners. The Committee supports outreach efforts, public education initiatives, and collaborative projects that advance the interests of the Latino community.


Social Media Committee

The Social Media Committee manages SCCLRLA’s digital presence and communications. The Committee promotes Association programs, events, and advocacy efforts, and works to amplify the voices and visibility of Latino legal professionals and community issues.



Policy Committee

The Policy Committee keeps SCCLRLA informed of local policy and political developments that impact the Latinx community. The Committee monitors relevant legislative, regulatory, and governmental actions and advises the Executive Board on issues affecting the interests of the Latinx community and the legal profession.


Latina Engagement Committee

The Latina Engagement Committee empowers and supports Latina lawyers, law students, and other legal professionals through advocacy, mentorship, leadership development, and community building. The Committee coordinates programs and resources addressing issues impacting Latina attorneys in collaboration with other SCCLRLA committees and promotes awareness of Latina-focused events and initiatives throughout the Bay Area.
