HNBA/VIA is committed to the educational, professional, and economic advancement of Hispanic law students as we work to remove barriers to their educational and professional success. One hundred percent (100%) of scholarship funds are awarded directly to law students across the country to help them defray the cost of law school, bar preparation courses, and/or living expenses.
Thank you to HNBA Past President Benny Agosto, Jr. and his wife, Nichole Agosto, for your steadfast support and generous donation of $20,000.00 for the 2022 Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition Scholarships. The 2022 Moot Court will take place virtually March 15-18, 2022.
For the HNBA’s 50th Anniversary celebration in 2022, our goal is to award $250,000 in scholarships to recipients who demonstrate financial need; are in good standing at their law school; demonstrate a good academic track record; and are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal community. All donations to the HNBA/VIA Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.
